Our Story

How We Started

Oldwisesage Ventures started with a simple frustration: too many rental platforms make it harder than it needs to be. Hidden fees, vague photos, no one to call. We set out to do it differently. Every home in our portfolio is one we'd stay in ourselves, in a place worth the trip. Right now that means the Appalachian foothills of West Virginia and the Delaware coast.

What Guests Can Expect

Both of our current properties sleep six, with enough room to spread out without rattling around in a house that's too big. The Forest Spa Retreat in Berkeley Springs sits near hiking trails and comes with a hot tub and sauna. The Waterfront Retreat in Ocean View puts you on the Delaware coast with kayaks on the deck and water views from most rooms. Different places, same idea: a home that's ready when you arrive, with someone reachable if anything comes up.
